Fast forward to 1974 and Blue Pine Trees finds the band at their finest with sweeping harmonies and bluegrass tinges, and with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour in the producer's chair, all of their glorious potential is realised on this lost gem of an album that is fully ripe for rediscovery.
